Soshana believes that a powerful foundation of skills and a well trained dog will make handling easy! Almost all difficulties encountered throughout the career of an agility team can be solved with a return to the basics. Soshana advocates a dog-friendly, positive-reinforcement training style and strives to promote a fun and healthy learning environment for all handlers and their dogs.

Constantly trying to augment her knowledge and increase her skill as a trainer, handler, and teacher, Soshana aspires to stay in the lead of a constantly evolving sport. She encourages her students to think creatively, take risks, and to believe in themselves and their dogs.

In 2014, Soshana embraced the methodology of OneMind Dogs and has traveled extensively to Finland to work with Jaakko Suoknuuti and Janita Leinonen. Their imaginative style and attention to 'agility from the dog's point of view' perfectly coincides with Soshana's perspective. She is honored to have been chosen as one of the first 6 OneMind Dogs Coaches in the US. Since that time, Soshana continues to evolve, taking inspiration from a variety of sources; adding and subtracting to create her own style and motivating her students to do the same.

Soshana is thrilled to have represented the USA with her Border Collie, Glance as well as her Border Collie, Knack on WAO, IFCS and EO teams. Soshana is looking forward to competing with Knack as part of Team USA at the IFCS in Belgium in 2021. Soshana Dos is the owner of On Point Agility.
